			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A very good friend of mine who has been one of the catalysts towards the improvement in my photography,  organised an urban model shoot in Birmingham a couple of weeks ago. Here&#8217;s the <a href="http://gilltaylor.blogspot.com/2008/07/fun-in-sun-with-models-and-lots-of.html" target="_blank">link</a> to the post on her blog.</p>
<p>I met up with Gill, the models and the other 10 or so photographers at the Mailbox in Birmingham.</p>
<p>Unfortunately, or as it turned out, fortunately we were moved on by one of the Mailbox security guards. Our quick search of the area lead us to the remains of St Thomas&#8217; Church, which was bombed and damaged in WWII. The remaining structure of the Portico and Tower are now joined to a Peace Garden.</p>
