Berkshire Wedding Photography

Two good friends of mine celebrated their Civil Partnership on Saturday at the wonderful Silchester House.

It was quite different being at a wedding as a guest, it would have felt even weirder not having a camera to hand though!

Nick and Paul spent a lot of time on the details, there were some obvious links to Nick’s love of Star Trek, the string quartet played the Next Generation theme as their recessional, all of the table names were different races from across the show and they had a Borg cube as a wedding cake!

Thanks for a great day guys, it was a pleasure to spend it with you.

Here are some pictures from the day, I’ll upload some more once the guys have seen them.

Visiting the Family

Personal • 10th August 2008

Cassandra and I popped down to visit my parents in Sutton Poyntz, Dorset over the weekend. With me covering weddings over weekends and Cassandra working during the week it severely limits the time we have to see people, so it was nice to be able to spend the whole weekend with them.

Family is important to me and one thing I’m aware of, especially being a photographer, is that you can never have enough photographs of your family. I’m pretty sure by now that my family are fed up of the site of me behind a camera though!

Before going out for a beer I managed to rope them into a quick group session and almost got my Dad to behave (almost!)
